Martin Dvorak is a consultant in corporate strategy, specializing in the telecommunications market. Is vice president of the Committee of Independent ICT industry focused on the development of next generation networks and a healthy competitive environment in telecommunications. As part of Dial Telecom acts as an advisor to leadership in corporate strategy, restructuring and regulatory matters.
Previously, he held management positions in companies such as Telefonica O2 Czech Republic, WorldCom or Czech Telecom in the field of business development and procurement.
He holds an MBA from Tokyo's Hitotsubashi University in the field of international corporate strategy.

Radovan Vargic

Radovan Vargic studied geographic information systems on Matej Bel University in Banska Bystrica. A substantial part of his career he devoted Orange.
From November 2010 to the present day he is a manager for the development of new Orange  services. Nearly 9 years he did marketing, he worked as a manager for products and service.
From 1998 to 2001 he tried the application development area. Experience and knowledge with telco operators drew the three-week workshop in Tokyo. In the past he was also a consultant specialized for Food and Agriculture in the United Nations Organization or worked as a software developer for VUB.

Pavel Bárdoš was last five years working for SSE, Inc., and is in charge of strategy and business development.
In addition, he has in the portfolio section of regulation and also covers the operation of generating resources owned by SSE, a.s..
He has over 20 years of experience in various fields of energy.
Before SSE, a.s.. he worked in consulting firms Arthur Andersen (SK / CZ) and PwC (Canada)

Juraj Krajcár

Mr. Krajcár graduated from Comenius University in Bratislava. In the energy sector, he has been operating since 2009. He began his career in the company ADS Advertising, later he held marketing management positions at Heineken Slovakia and GE Capital Leasing. Before moving into the energy sector he was responsible for the sales and marketing department for residential customers at Slovak Telekom. There he has gained extensive experience in sales management and sales channels.
He is Chairman of the Board of ZSE Energia, a.s. since 2011.
He is also a Sales Director, responsible for the sale and purchase of electricity, marketing and pricing as well as a member of the Board of Directors of the mother company Západoslovenská energetika, a.s.

Ivo Slavotínek

Ivo Slavotínek

Chairman, The Czech Association of Energy Services Providers (APES)

He graduated in economics and management at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Prague.
His professional career started at the Research Institute of fuel and energy complex (VUPEK). Energy-saving projects he first discussed at Seven o.p.s. where his main job was putting the EPC method on the Czech market. In 1993 he co-founded the first energy service companies (EPS CR Ltd.) applying the EPC method in the domestic market. During his work in the EPS CR he significantly influenced the development of the energy services market in the Czech Republic.
Since 2006 he is Chairman and Director of ENESA Inc., which is one of the largest Czech energy service providers.
He is a founding member and chairman of the Association of Energy Managers. In APES he is contributing to the creation of rules and the development of domestic energy services market with a guaranteed result.
During his working in the energy sector, especially in the area of energy efficiency, worked on many international projects and the development of markets for energy services in several countries.

Radek Lucký

Radek Lucky graduated at the University of Mining and Geology. Since 1988 he worked as Bore research manager in Czech Gas Company. Since 1994 he worked as Aide to Sales and Marketing Director and later as commercial/Marketing Director in Transgas. Since 2002 he was a member and Chairman of Board of Directors in South Bohemia GAS LDC and from 2005 he was Vicechairman of Board of Directors in E.ON Energie, a.s. Since 2008 he worked as member of the Board in KKCG OilGas and as Vicechairman of the Board in MND Gas Storage, a.s. Since 2010 he was an independent consultant and since 2012 he works as Managing Director in E.ON Czech Republic, s.r.o.
He speaks fluently Czech, Russian and English. He has passive knowledge of German language.

Maroš Šefčovič

Commission Vice-President for Energy Union, European Commission

Maroš Šefčovič (born in 1966) is a Slovak career diplomat and since 1 November 2014 Vice President of the European Commission in charge of the Energy Union. In this capacity, he leads the `Energy Union` Project Team within the Commission which comprises of 14 commissioners. In 2014 he was elected as the Member of the European Parliament. From 2010 – 2014 he was Vice President of the European Commission in charge of Inter-Institutional Relations and Administration. In 2009-2010, he was European Commissioner for Education, Training, Culture and Youth. From 2004 -2009, he was the Permanent Representative of the Slovak Republic to the European Union. As diplomat by profession he served between 1992 and 2004 in Zimbabwe and Canada and as Ambassador to Israel.

He graduated from the University of Economy in Bratislava and the Moscow State Institute for Foreign Relations. He holds a degree as Doctor of Law and a PhD of European Law from the Comenius University, Faculty of Law, Bratislava. He also studied at Stanford University, USA. He has recently published a book on his first mandate as Vice-President entitled `Driving the EU forward – straight talks with Maroš Šefčovič` (John Harper Publishing, London 2014).

Thomas Merker is Vice-Chairman of the Board and CFO at innogy Česká republika. He studied macroeconomics at different universities in Germany and France. In 2000, Thomas joined the RWE Group and held various senior positions in Controlling, Strategy and M&A in the Czech Republic and Germany. In 2006, he was appointed to the Board of RWE GasNet, the biggest gas DSO in the Czech Republic. Apart from his role in innogy Česká republika, he is also Member of the Board of innogy Grid Holding and of the Supervisory Board of Východoslovenská distribučná, a.s. (SK)

Alena Vitásková is the Chairwoman of the Energy Regulatory Office since 1 August 2011. She has worked on executive positions in gas and power industry significant part of her career. Alena Vitásková worked in the position of Vice-Chairwoman and CEO in Severomoravská plynárenská, in the position of Chairwoman and CEO at RWE Transgas and she served as Chairwoman of Pražská teplárenská. She also served as President of Klub plynárenských podnikatelů ČR [Czech Club of Gas Businesses].

Zdeněk Židek was born in 1967 in Pilsen.
His entire professional life he devoted to energy. After 1990, he worked abroad in the company of SAG for the position of project manager, later - in 1993 - he co-founded the company REKS Plzen Ltd., which in 2009 transformed into the GA Energo technik. In August 2015, the company became part of the global network of Vinci Energies and on the market operates under the name OMEXOM GA Energo s.r.o.. Zdenek Zidek company still leads and he is its co-owner.

Chairman of the Board responsible for Smart City, Operátor ICT (City of Prague)

Michal Fiser is the CEO Operator ICT company, which acts as a service organization for capital city in the area of communication and information technologies. Operator ICT is fully engaged in traffic handling (operating system smart cards to preparation of a new multi-channel check-in system), processing of IT projects (data center, optical networks, service desk) or the development of smart solutions within the concept of Smart Cities.

Michal Fiser previously worked for the consulting practice of PwC and Deloitte, especially in economic and financial management and performance improvement in manufacturing companies.
In the past he also worked for Pilsner Urquell or Czech Airlines.

Ing. Richard Pieger operates in group VSE / Innogy since 2005 and held various positions in strategic planning and development of the company. From 2009-2013, he worked within the sister companies in Germany and the Czech Republic. Besides the Head of the Development Section of the VSE Holding, Inc. As manager he is also responsible for the company Innogy Solutions, s.r.o., focused on the development of energy services in Slovakia.

JUDr. Ing. Tomas Novotny, Ph.D. is a graduate of the University of Economics in Prague, Faculty of International Relations.
He graduated from the Law Faculty of Charles University in Prague, focusing on European Community law. He gained PhD at the University of Economics and graduated in the field of European studies.
In February 2014 he was appointed Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade. Since 2009 he held the post of Director of ROP Central Bohemia. From 2006 to 2008 he was director of the Section for EU Funds and Deputy Assistant to General Director for Technoexport, a. s. In the period 2002-2006 he was deputy minister and as department director of the Foreign Relations at Ministry of the Environment. From 2000 to 2002 he was deputy director of the State Environmental Fund and director of implementation agency. Between 1998 and 2000 he worked as an expert for the EU IPB. From 1997 to 1998 he was secretary of the organizing committee of the Chamber of Deputies.

Ing. Vladimir Kesjár is the current Chairman of the Office for the regulation of electronic communications and postal services. He graduated from the Slovak Technical University in Bratislava.
Before the chairman he was in the period from 05.24.2013 to 31.12.2013 Vice-Chairman of the Telecommunications Office of the Slovak Republic. Before 1993, he worked first at the university and later in management positions in Africa, including two years in the telecommunications subsidiary of Siemens. In 2004 he was managing director of financial-investment company EUFINEX in the years 2001 to 2004, the general director of the insurance company ALICO AIG Life and in the years 1993 to 2000 director of the telecommunications division at Siemens. Board member of the American Chamber of Commerce has been three years and one year he served as finance committee of the Center for Strategic and International studies.

Miroslav Řezníček

He is a graduate of the Czech Technical University in Prague, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. He further completed his technical education at the University of Chicago in USA in areas of economy and management and gained MBA.

Since beginning of 1990s he worked in field of telecommunication and information technologies. His professional carrier was started in area of financial analyses where he was involved, among other things, in preparation of financing of the first telecommunication project – a digital transient network. Close to the end of 1990s he conducted negotiations of connecting agreement between SPT Telecom and newly arisen mobile operators. He also took part in preparation of legislation frame at the beginning of telecommunication market liberalization. He was part of the team, together with ICT Union (APVTS), creating market regulatory measures and developing ICT wholesale services. 

During his career in telecommunication companies he held top managerial positions. In SPT Telecom (presently O2 Czech Republic a.s.) he gained experiences in different technical and economical departments; on the top managerial level he worked for five years also with alternative operator Contactel. In 2005 he took advantage to work for ČEZ Group in Bulgaria where he was responsible for management of company’s regulatory affairs. In 2006 he accepted position of General Manager of DELL commercial agency in Slovakia. For two years he held position of Director for the Czech Republic of Asseco Central Europe which provides IT solutions in different market segments. 

Before accepting position in ČD - Telematika and thus coming back to favorite telecommunication where he gained many professional experiences he worked for INDRA Czech Republic as Director of Sales Development for Central and Eastern Europe.

Mr. Pavel Cyrani is Member of the Board in EURELECTRIC, Member of Advisory Committee of the International Energy Agency and Member of Energy Committee of the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic.

Roman Knap is the CEO of SAP Czech Republic since 2014. The head of the Czech branch of SAP seeks to strengthen its market position as a modern cloud-based businesses, a technology innovator and a reliable partner for Czech companies. He also cares about the company culture and atmosphere within the company, he loves to take colleagues on unusual teambuilding events. He likes to combine the corporate world access of young start-up companies. The SAP has been operating since 2008, and from 2012 to 2014 he held the position of CEO of SAP Slovakia. Prior to joining SAP he worked at Oracle and KPMG Consulting.
Roman grew up in Paris, perhaps because it has so many cafes like an authentic atmosphere and inspiring view, this also represents the ideal office. In my work, always thinking about how we can do differently, unconventionally, creatively. Gray and stereotype he will not let into his life.
In his spare time he likes to run, play golf, boxing and cooking. He likes modern art.  Paintings by Michal Singer inspire him, in which he sees the original view of the world. Himself like paints pictures by a real master, whether it's a view of the countryside or the expression of the moment that just attracts him. On the way to work he is playing in the car his favourite music, the energy he takes mainly from hard rock and heavy metal. In the evening with a glass of champagne he is happy to listen jazz.
